Obituary

Marjorie m. Ingersoll, 91, of edgewood summit in charleston, wv passed peacefully dec. 11, 2014 at home. Formerly of rochester, ny she was predeceased by her husband, richard h. Ingersoll, and son, robert r. Ingersoll. Survived by beloved daughter, catherine “kitty” morgan (jay), and granddaughter, catherine taylor morgan, of charleston, wv and nephew stephen r. Connor (joy) of carbondale, co.

Her volunteer activities included service on the boards of the junior league of rochester, ywca, and the memorial art gallery, where she was a past president of the women’s council.
She was a member of the chatterbox club, turpentine twig and the junior league in rochester and an active member of the edgewood summit community in charleston.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the edgewood summit employee appreciation fund 300 baker lane charleston, wv 25302 or the memorial art gallery, 500 university ave. Rochester, ny 14607.
At marjorie’s request there will be no memorial service. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a future time.
