Obituary

Marjorie s. Blake, 97 entered into her heavenly father’s arms thursday, july 26, 2018.

She was a resident of mary’s garden, marmet health center, marmet, wv.

Marjorie was born may 19, 1921 in charleston, wv to the late edgar and blanche mason stalnaker. She spent 53 years living in st. Albans, wv. She was a devout christian.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, billy.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, stephanie of cross lanes and becky (parke) of lexington, ky; two grandsons, christopher (lauren) of louisville, ky and tony of lexington, ky; two great-grandchildren, paisley and merritt, and a host of family and friends.

Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.M., monday, july 30, 2018 at springhill cemetery, charleston, wv with rev. Jeff biddle of emmanuel baptist officiating. All family and friends are invited to attend.

The family would like to thank the staff at marmet center and mary’s garden for their exceptional love and care given to marjorie over the last few years. Their love and friendship have made them our extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in cash to mary’s garden, # 1 sutphin place, marmet, wv 25315 in memory of marjorie.
