Obituary
Mark david yerrid, 43, of mooresville, nc, formerly of charleston, passed away in mooresville, nc, on february 20, 2015.
He was born in olean, ny in 1971. His family moved to charleston in 1981.
He was preceded in death by his kind step-father, charles a. Howard.
He graduated from capital high school, went to college in florida for four years and was on the dean’s list the first year. He then went on to complete his master’s degree.
Mark was employed for fifteen years “ first with elan neurology pharmaceutical company, winning a presidents cup in 2002 “ then for the last ten years with endo biotech company. he led two very successful careers.
Mark is survived by his mother, peggy yerrid howard of south charleston.
Mark touches many lives for those who knew him. he was a man with a big heart. He loved to joke and tease those he loved. He will be missed. He made friends wherever he lived.
He loved for music, surfing and golf. He enjoyed the drums and guitar, playing them well. He had very close relationships with his cousins, near and far. Also surviving are his aunts, uncles, great-aunts and his loving girlfriend, crystal helms from north carolina.
Trisagion prayers will be 7:15 p.M. Monday, march 2, 2015 at barlow bonsall funeral home, charleston with the very rev. Father olof scott officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7:15 p.M. On monday at the funeral home before the service.
The family wishes thank everyone’s outpouring of love at this time, as mark would say, “that’s beautiful!!”

Was So Sorry To Hear About Mark. I Work In A Doctors Office And He Was A Bright Star That Could Always Make You Feel Good By Just Coming By The Office. I Tried To Keep In Touch Even After He Moved Through Facebook. He Was Just A Great Person And I Will Miss Him So.
