My condolences to Mark’s family during this difficult time. I met & worked with Mark at the South Charleston Naval Reserve Center in 1978. He helped a green Army MP “survive” his time there! We lost touch after a few years, but reconnected through fb decades later. Will miss our chats. Hand salute Sir & rest in peace old friend!

I had the privilege of working with Mark at Concord University’s Beckley campus. We even shared an office together for a while. Mark was a good friend and colleague. He was always so helpful to everyone around him and enriched so many lives. We had so many conversations about art, military history and old movies. My prayers are with his family.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Professor Mark Tobin Moore. I am praying for his family during this difficult time.
I had the privilege of knowing him while working together at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center in Beaver, WV. He was truly a bright light full of enthusiasm, kindness, and warmth. He was always willing to help in any way that he could whether that might be sprucing up the walls with his students’ artwork, participating in events or whatever the calling. His students adored him and loved being in his classes. He touched so many lives (including mine) and will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace, Professor Mark Tobin Moore
