Obituary

Martha Jean Nesselrotte, age 68, passed away on October 13, 2024, in Charleston, WV. Born on May 3, 1956, she was a lifelong resident of West Virginia, where she dedicated many years to the Nutrition Services industry, notably at West Virginia State University, Kanawha County Head Start Program, and Tudor’s Biscuit World. Her reputation as a hard and dependable worker stood strong throughout her career.

Martha graduated from Webster County High School, which laid the foundation for her commitment to community service and work ethic. Her life was marked by her dedication to her family and career.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Nesselrotte; her sister, Shirley Clarke; her son, Charlie Nesselrotte and his wife Kara; her daughter, Sonja Nesselrotte; and her grandchildren, Marcus, Natalie, Alex, and Austin.

Martha was preceded in death by her father, Charles Talbert; mother, Lula (Hoover) Talbert; sister, Phyllis Talbert; brother, Arch Talbert; and foster mother, Hazel Hickman.

The family extends their gratitude to Stonerise Nursing Facility for their compassionate care in her final days.

A gathering to honor Martha’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, located at 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV 25301.

    Bill – I worked for Mr. Reishman who owned Rob-Ray Apartments. I met your wife when she lived there with you. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very nice lady.
