Obituary

Mary Ellen Baughman, 60, of St. Albans, WV, joined her sister, Kimberly Morgan, in eternal rest on April 10, 2026, surrounded by family after a long illness.
She was born May 20, 1965, in Charleston, WV, to Marvin Terry and Judith (Lietchfield) Terry. A 1983 graduate of St Albans High School, she later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic arts at West Virginia State University. A long-time employee of Charleston Newspapers, <ary was also a small business owner and a local award-winning artist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Morgan.
Mary is survived by her husband, Michael Lee Baughman; daughter, Hannah Perry (John) of Louisa, KY; sister, Terry Reagan (Jack) of Cleveland, OH; 14 grandkids; two great-grandkids., and her loving cat, Delilah.
Mary was co-owner of Two Tinkers with Rebecca Hemsworth. A member of Appalachian Arts Association, she was a staple at the West Virginia Renaissance Festival in Lewisburg, WV. She was a member of Raven’s Nest Kindred and volunteered many hours as a member of many cancer support groups and organizations.
Mary’s cremains will be inurned in the columbarium wall at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.

  1. Mary was an incredible artist. I don’t think there was anything she couldn’t do. I so admired her talents & her strength in dealing with her illness over & over again. I’m so sorry she passed but now she is free from her pain & is able to fly high with the angels. You will be missed Mary. ❤️

  2. Mary was a wonderful woman, with an incredible sense of humor and family. I was honored to know her, even though it was brief. She will be missed dearly by all the people her light touched.
