Obituary
Born February 10, 1944, in Braxton County, WV, to the late Charles E. Goad and Alta (Stalnaker) Goad, Mary Goad Boring, 84, went home to be with the Lord January 26, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alta Goad, and her two sons, Harvey Brogan and Johnnie Goad.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Sandra Brogan Surface and her husband David Surface, of Big Chimney, WV; two grandchildren, Frankie Elmore and Davey Surface, both of Charleston, WV, and two great-grandchildren, Sierra Miller and Willow Pickens, both of Charleston.
She loved working in the food industry, growing a garden and canning what she got out of it, but family time was the most important thing to her.
