Obituary
Mary jane knighton, 87, of dunbar, passed away peacefully on sunday, april 8, 2018.
She was born on september 8, 1930 in natick, massachusetts, and was preceded in death by her husband, richard l. Knighton of dunbar, wv; her parents, ina w. And george t. King of boston, massachusetts; and a brother, george l. King of kingston, massachusetts.
She was retired from the west virginia easter seal society for crippled children and adults after 37 years of service; and had also been employed at children’s therapy clinic, inc., and shawnee hills, inc.
She was a member of st. John’s episcopal church, charleston, wv, where she served on the altar guild.
A graveside service will be held at spring hill cemetery, charleston, wv, friday, april 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm with kent higgins, of st. John’s episcopal church officiating. There will be no visitation.
Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 p.M. To go to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: children’s therapy clinic, inc., po box 2707, charleston, wv 25330; or manna meal, inc., 1105 quarrier street, charleston, wv 25301.
Barlow-bonsall funeral home, 1118 virginia street e, charleston wv is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Jane Attended A Public Library Reading Craft Event W My Then 3 Year Old Daughter. I Spoke W Mary Jane On Christmas 2017 After She Returned From A Family Gathering. On Easter 2018, I Didn’T Receive An Answer When L “Rang” As She Would Say. God Bless You W “Comfort And Joy” As The Old Hymn Goes. Much Love!!! I’Ll Miss Dropping By W Cards And Hearing “Oh Hi, Rit! How Are The Girls, Chuck (Brother) And Sharon (Sister)?
