Matthew Alan Compton, 30, of South Charleston, WV, passed away after a short illness on August 29, 2023. He was born in Charleston, WV, on July 11,1993.

Matthew was a kind and loving son, brother, grandson, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, indulging in his love for music, singing karaoke, playing games, and watching scary movies.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Dee Dee Turner, and his father, Terry Turner, both from South Charleston. He also leaves behind three sisters, Kasee Bennett, Kari Dahlin, and Brooke Dahlin, all from South Charleston.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn Dahlin, and his grandmother, Sharon Dahlin.

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Connection Point Church of God, located at 2390 Kanawha State Forest Drive, Charleston, WV 25309. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring Matthew during this time.
