Barry & Mark, I Would Like To Send My Condolences To You And Yours. You Will Never Know How Much I Appreciate All Your Father & Mother Taught Me About The Retail Business. Having Worked At Cds For 18+ Years, Shows How Much I Loved It. Also, Would Like To Thank Your Dad And You Barry For Giving Tom The Chance To Let His Light Shine. He Loved That Store And Gave His All To It. He Wasn’T Happy Unless He Was In That Store. He Was So Proud Of It. My Best To You All And I Am So Sorry For The Loss Of Your Father, A Sweet Soul.

    Helen

    Dear Mark, Barry, And Rita,
I Am So Sorry To Learn Of Mel’S Death. I Can Always Remember How Kind Your Family Was To Me Every Time I Was In Your Home. Mark, It Was The Avid Interest And Participation That Your Family Had In Music That Sparked My Own Interest In It. I Have Many Fond Memories Of Walking To Fort Hill School, Going To The “Y”, And In Later Years Driving To Marshall University For Clarinet Lessons.
I Always Loved Seeing Your Dad In The Violin Section Of The Charleston Symphony. Your Family Has Enriched The Kanawha Valley In So Many Ways.
Your Former Neighbor, Olive Hamrick Was My 2Nd Cousin, And She Always Spoke So Highly Of Mel And Gloria.
I Will Be Remembering You In Prayer.
