  1. My sister just sent me Mike’s obituary. I was shocked and saddened to hear about his sudden passing. Mike and I went to North Catholic together. He was 2 years older than I but we spent a lot of time together playing tennis, going to basketball and football games, and just hanging around. We lost touch after he graduated but I will always remember him fondly and with deep respect. We went to see Billie Jean King play Evonne Goolagong at the Civic Arena when Pittsburgh had a World Tennis Team. I just thought how he would react when he double-faulted or missed a shot in tennis and it cracked me up. I hope a memory such as this provides some comfort to you, knowing that even though he is not here he is still loved.

I Did Not Know Mr. Schessler But I Know How Hard It Can Be To Lose A Loved One In Death So I Wanted To Say I Am Very Sorry For Your Loss. The Scripture That Has Given Me Comfort At Times Like This Is The One Found At Revelation 21:4 That Says, “And He Will Wipe Out Every Tear From Their Eyes, And Death Will Be No More, Neither Will Mourning Nor Outcry Nor Pain Be Anymore. The Former Things Have Passed Away.” So God Has Promised That In The Very Near Future We Will Never Have To Experience The Pain Associated With Death Anymore. I Pray That This Gives The Family Some Comfort During This Difficult Time.
