I Did Not Know Mrs. Jones But I Know How Hard It Can Be To Lose A Loved One In Death So I Wanted To Say I Am Very Sorry For Your Loss. The Scripture That Has Given Me Comfort At Times Like This Is The One Found At Revelation 21:4 That Says, “And He Will Wipe Out Every Tear From Their Eyes, And Death Will Be No More, Neither Will Mourning Nor Outcry Nor Pain Be Anymore. The Former Things Have Passed Away.” So God Has Promised That In The Very Near Future We Will Never Have To Experience The Pain Associated With Death Anymore. I Pray That This Gives The Family Some Comfort During This Difficult Time.

I Was Sad To Read About Chris’S Passing And Much Enjoyed Reading About Her Interesting And Long Life. I Met Chris’S Husband Mayford As A 22 Year Old Engineer At Union Carbide Over 34 Years Ago. After Mayford Retired He Invited Me To Meet Chris And View The Gem Business In The Basement. We Spent Many Evenings With Chris And Mayford Talking About Gems And World Issues. My Favorite Chris Story Was Arriving One Night To Find Chris And Mayford Crawling Around On The Floor Looking For A Two Carat Diamond That Had Somehow “Escaped”. My Thoughts Are With You Today As You Celebrate This Great Life.
