Obituary

Mona sheila miller, 79, of st, albans, wv passed away tuesday, march 20, 2018 at putnam  center, hurricane, wv after a brief illness.

She was born to the late robert and ethel porterfield akers.

Mona worked at thomas memorial hospital for several years. A 1957 graduate of south charleston high school where she was a majorette and a st. Albans wotm 857 member since 1994.

She is survived by her children, jeff miller, of grafton, wv, bobby, marc, and steven miller all of st. Albans, wv; brother, pat akers of st. Louis, mo;  14 grandchildren;  23 ½ great grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, jim miller and longtime companion ron miller

mona enjoyed her family and will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of mona’s life will be held saturday, april 7^th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.M. At the st. Albans moose lodge, st. Albans, wv.
