Obituary

Danny Ray Hall, 72, of Charleston, WV, passed away December 27, 2022, at Charleston General Hospital.

He was a very hardworking man whom joined the military at age 17, where he served in the Korean War. After the war, he served 20 years in the National Guard while working for Bank One, where he retired. After retirement, he delivered papers on the East End of Charleston for Charleston Newspapers for almost 20 more years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hall and Ella (Muncey) Hall, and his older brother, Kenneth Lee Hall.

Danny is survived by one daughter, Danya Hall, and two grandchildren, Mikaila Hall and Aniah Hall. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, with two nieces and a nephew, along with lots of cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veteran’s Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.
