Obituary

Darrell G. Hinkle, 51, of Mt. Hope, WV, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020, at WVU United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

He had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Blackhawk Mining for several years. He enjoyed working on heavy equipment and machinery, as well as cars.

He loved to hunt and fish, but especially loved spending time with his wife and kids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell E. Hinkle, and sister, Eugenia “LuLu” Hinkle Bailey.

Darrell is survived by his mother, Margie Lou Hinkle of Mt. Hope, WV; ex-wife, Tammy Hinkle of Belle, WV; daughter, Kendal Hinkle of Belle, WV; son, Aaron Adkins of Mount Hope, WV; sisters, Elva (Joe) Fox and Cindy Mae Hinkle; brothers, Billy (Shannon) Hinkle and Roger (Evie) Hinkle; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Allen Kinsler, Rocky Pruitt, and Jesse Harvey, and special thanks to Patrick for all you help.

Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
