Obituary

David Clark “Butch” Joslin, 77, of Charleston, WV, passed away November 21, 2020 at CAMC Hospice Care.

He was born March 20, 1943, in Monroe County to the late Clark and Jeannette Pence Joslin.

He was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves, and worked for the State of West Virginia.
He loved his marching band with the Shriners at the Beni Kedem, Charleston Metropolitan Band, and the River Rats, also he was a lifelong member of Village Chapel Presbyterian Church, Kanawha City.

David lived most of his life in Charleston.
He is survived by his daughter and her wife, Tara and Laura Joslin; and his brother, Jay Joslin.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 54 years, Marilyn Joslin.

David loved his country, his music, his animals, and especially his family and friends.
We will miss him dearly.
