Obituary

David j. Klingaman, 67 of charleston passed away peacefully at hubbard hospice house, charleston, wv on july 7, 2016, with his family by his side.

David was a retired cable runner.  he served two tours during the vietnam war with the united states army. He was a member of the vfw-post-8129.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, david.

He is survived by his loving wife, loretta; both of his parents, harold klingaman of missouri and ethel lee klingaman, of washington state; children, amy; suzanne, paula, robbie;  ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, linda edwards; and a brother, robert klingaman.

There will be a celebration of life, starting at 5:00 pm., sunday, july 17, 2016 at the vfw-post 8129, 2401 washington street, west, we welcome all family and friends to attend.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to: hubbard hospice house, 1606 kanawha blvd., west, charleston, wv 25387.

    It Is With A Very Sad Heart That I Say Goodbye To My Younger Brother. I Believe That He Would Have Enjoyed Being At His Celebration Of Life With His Family And Friends. He Was So Full Of Energy And Life And He Will Be Missed.

    I’M Sorry That We Did Not Get A Chance To Say Goodbye Face To Face, But I Want You To Know That I Have Always Loved You. I Cherish The Memories Of Our Trip Up The Alcan Highway In 1965 And All The Good Times We Had.
