Obituary
On October 1, 2021, Henry Lee Burns (85) of Elkview, West Virginia went to be with his beloved wife, Sue Burns; son, Russel Lee Burns; brother, Charles Burns; father, Charles Burns; and mother, Bessie Mace Burns who have preceded him in death.
From 1955 to 1966 Henry Burns held a long career in the United States Marine Corp. After being honorably discharged he was a TV repairman for the Charleston area.
Henry leaves behind his sister, Hattie (Jim) Langenheim of Boardman, Ohio; his daughters Melissa (Fred) Mourey of Teays Valley, Karen (Lee) Godbey of Belle, Sharon Burns, and her daughter Jessica McDonnell (Larry) of Elkview, Hattie (Steve) Bishop of Charleston. Henry is also survived by his 7 grandkids and 13 great-grandkids.
The family will be having a private ceremony celebrating his life.

I worked with Henry for more than 3 years at WV Communications, in the early 70s. He was always a fine gentleman, a proud Marine, and so proud of his daughters. RIP good friend.
