Obituary
James M. North, Sr., 69, of Charleston, WV, formerly of Washington, PA, departed this life on February 20, 2022, after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Arrington; father, Willie E. North, Sr.; sons, James Jr., Stuart, and Michael.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Taundra; sons, Matthew of Washington, PA, Jordan of Youngstown, OH; daughter, Alana of Youngstown; granddaughter, Kirstie (Denzel) of Martinsburg, WV; brothers, George Arrington and Jerry Thompson (Sharon) of Charleston, Willie E. North, Jr. (Stacey) of Morgantown; special brother and sister, Arthur and LeeLee Tyson; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson, and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
A private homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022 at 2nd. Avenue Community Center, 1411 2nd. Avenue, Charleston, WV 25312
