Obituary

James T. Vickers, 70 of Charleston softly and quietly passed away, Thursday,
September 23, 2021. He was loved by many and some knew him as the “biscuit man”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Emma Vickers. 

He is survived by his wife, Debra; daughter, Vesper (Zach); sister Regina; grandkids, Allison, Tristan and many nephews and nieces, and also all his special friends, including his hunting buddy Mike.

Special Heartfelt thanks goes to Dale, 3 West staff and dietician of CAMC Memorial .

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm., Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV, Pastor Gary Walker officiating. The service will be held outside, do to the Covid-19 restrictions the family will require a mask to attend the military service. Vocals by Charles McCormick, followed with a Military salute.  Immediately following the service a get together will be held at Shawnee Park to share memories and stories.
