Obituary
Michael “Mike” Edward Anderson, 66, of Charleston, WV, passed away on February 12, 2021, after a long illness.
Mike spent much of his career working as an equipment operator at West Virginia Steel. He really enjoyed fishing, music, movies, and get-togethers with family and friends. He was known for his good-nature, and his infectious laugh and smile.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Eva Lee, of Oxford, FL; Shirley Rucker, of Wheelersburg, OH; Virginia Comer and her husband Steve, of Charleston, WV; and his brother, Bill Anderson and his wife Brenda, of Charleston, WV; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Fannie Anderson, of Elkview, WV.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of CAMC Hospital, and Marmet Center.

Uncle mike was my favorite uncle. We had so many good times. He had the contagious laugh n smile. I wish I would of got to see him more. My heart goes out to the family. I miss n love you all. Uncle mike is in a better place n isn’t suffering anymore . He is in big blue sky with grandpa n grandma…
