Obituary
Robert “Bob” Snead, 80, of Charleston, passed away peacefully at home on April 19,2022 after a long illness with his loving wife Debra by his side.
Bob graduated from Charleston Catholic High School. He attended West Virginia Institute of Technology where he earned his Civil Engineering degree. He began a 30-year career at the WV Department of Highways, working with bridges and specializing in bridge repair. He also did consult work for AE Associates LTD for 10 years before he fully retired.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Margaret Snead. He is survived by his wife, Debra Snead; two daughters, Nancy Ryan Rodgers (Brad) of Harrisburg PA; Sandra Garza of Houston TX; and three grandchildren Robert and Stone Garza, and Hannasy Rodgers.
Throughout his life Bob enjoyed his Harley motorcycles, traveling, music, and attending concerts with his wife Debbie.
In memory of Bob, the family requests donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care for their excellent comfort care.
There will be no services at Bob’s request.

We all know this path will be followed by all, but it doesn’t make it it easier to deal with. My heart and compassion go out to all that loved Bob. I hope very soon that your tears of sorrow will turn to tears of joy as you share your memories of him.
