Obituary
Shawn Allen Goins, 44, of Oakland, MD, passed away October 30, 2021, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV, after a brief illness.
He was a graduate of Sissonville High School, Sissonville, WV, and a laborer by trade. Shawn’s greatest passion was getting up on the weekends to work on many projects with his Uncle Allen.
Shawn enjoyed playing basketball with his children. He enjoyed watching movies with family. Shawn was always a joker; if he seen anyone crying, he would jokingly call them a “cry baby.”
Shawn is survived by his wife, Melissa Goins; children, Nathan and Chelsea Goins; stepson, Austin Rouse; his parents, Greg Goins and Willa Goins; and many other family members and friends.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at
Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home,1118 Virginia St., East, Charleston, WV.
