Obituary

Thomas Henry Napier Jr., age 93, of Charleston, WV, died March 8, 2022, at Meadowbrook Acres.

He moved to Charleston in 1960 to work at the State Capital Highway Department and worked in the auto industry until his retirement.
He was born in Logan County, lived in Wayne County, and Lumberport, WV. He was an Army Ranger in the Korean War and has an associate degree from Fairmont College.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, and is survived by two children, Betsy Crews and Jeff Napier (Helen); three grandchildren, Christa Harris, Amanda Bays and Taylor Crews; and eight great-grandchildren, David Knoapp, Greyson Harris, Tenly Harris, Cullen Harris, Dwayne Bays, Ellie Bays, Kason Harris and Carter Harris.

A private graveside service will be held at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, WV, at a later date.
