Obituary

Timothy Joseph Young, 57, of Poca, born August 30, 1963, to Lola Faye Wilkinson and the late Hayes Gene Young, he departed this life Saturday, October 17, 2020, after a long battle with cancer.

Tim was preceded in death by his son, Timothy “TJ” Joseph Jr.; father, Hayes Gene Young; maternal grandparents, Riley and Helen Wilkinson; and paternal grandmother, Donna Young.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lola Faye and Gene Olive of Poca; daughter, Timra Jo Rose (Jeremy) of St. Albans; stepchildren, Amy Good and Robbie Pettry; brothers, Tony (Patty) of Hurricane, Ted (Joyce) of Poca, and Troy (Tammi) of Louisville, KY; and six grandchildren.

At Tim’s request, there will be no service at this time.

Many thanks to the nurses at Hospice and to the staff at Oakridge Center for the excellent care and comfort they gave Tim during his illness.
