  1. So very sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. Know she will be sorely missed. She was such a great gal & friend

  2. The West Virginia and Kanawha County Associations of Retired School Employees extend their sincere sympathy to you, the family, in your sorrow. Blessings to all.

  3. Barbara was the first girl I met when I attended elementary summer school. Not sure why either of us were there. It turns out our mothers knew each other. We went all through Kanawha County Schools as classmates. We were not real close friends, but still friends. She was a great gal. I know her family and friends are mourning her loss.

  4. Barbara made an impact on our family’s life and well being. Bill went through high school with Barbara. They could still laugh about their younger selves even when they became responsible adults. Our three daughters Ellen, Anna and Mary Sale were all “educated” by “Ms. Hyatt” in the classroom and in life. They succeeded in the fifth grade but even more importantly they learned that “being cool” is not always the best choice.

We made a memorial contribution in Barbara’s name to KVC West Virginia.

    In Peace,

Bill and June Sale and family
