Obituary

Janet Catsonis passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Runk & Pratt Memory Care Unit, Smith Mountain Lake, VA.

She was born October 3, 1936, in Herndon, WV, and was the daughter of the late Terry Simmons and Bernice Milam Miller Simmons Lambert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Catsonis; children, Charles William, Terry Curtis, and Leo Thomas Catsonis; and brothers, Eual, Basil and Robert Miller.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Simmons Dunn; her grandson, Trenton Blaine Catsonis; and special friend, Ed Lewis.

Jan was a graduate of Richlands High School and attended Concord University. She was employed by the State of West Virginia as Assistant Director of Employment Security and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston.

There will be no service.
