Obituary

Kathy Diane Ornbaun Connelly, 72, of South Charleston, passed away Aug. 24, 2021 at Meadowbrook Acres after a brief illness.

She was born Nov. 9, 1948 in Charleston and adopted by the late Andrew Marion and Pansy Lee Spradling Ornbaun. Diane was also preceded by a sister, Kaye Means and a brother, Tom Ornbaun.

She is survived by nephews Taylor Ornbaun and Drew Ornbaun and a host of friends.

She was retired from WV CHIP and previously worked at WV Administration Finance Division and served in the Army in Germany.
A graveside service will be held at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute, at a later date, with Pastor Michael Shields officiating.
