Obituary
Opal Kathern Walter, 69, of Charleston, WV peacefully passed away Dec., 9, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Pinkston; daughter Brittany Walter of Los Angeles, CA; stepdaughter Kristen Ruhlin; and grandsons Bastain & Ellis also of Los Angeles.
She was employed by Assured Partners and was the former owner of Insurance Specialists.
She was a devout Christian, avid golfer, dear friend, and lover of life. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter. They had many wonderful and grand adventures together over the years. Kathern touched the hearts and souls of all she met and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in her honor at Bible Center Church, Southridge Campus, So. Chas., WV at 12 Noon Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

So very sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. Her faith was lived out in her life. We’re all blessed to have known her here on earth, and look forward to seeing her in Heaven.

Dear Brittany, so sorry to find out that Kathy passed away. She was such a wonderful person as you well know and she was always so good to me. Probably the best landlord ever. I loved living at her apartment and never wanted to leave. I hope you are doing well under the circumstances and I am thinking of you.
