Obituary

Nicholas joseph ciccarello, 92, of charleston, wv passed away friday, june 13, 2014, at the hubbard hospice house, charleston.

Nick was the son of the late joseph and carmen pacilio ciccarello. Nick retired in 1974 from the wv state tax dept. Where he worked as an accountant for many years. He was a graduate of morris harvey college (university of charleston) and a member of sacred heart co-cathedral.

He served with the u.S. Army during world war ii.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, tom ciccarello.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, dorothy ciccarello; and one daughter, kathy baird both of charleston; two sisters, evelyn ciccarello of charleston and lillian digiogi of south charleston, wv; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of christian burial will be held at 11 a.M. Tuesday, june 17 at sacred heart co-cathedral, charleston with the rev. Ryan l. Stichweh officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow with military rites in high lawn memorial park, oak hill, wv.
