Nikki Jane (Parrish) Phillips, 53, of Charleston, WV, passed away May 10, 2026.

Born in Charleston on September 2, 1972, she is the daughter of the late Paul Edward Parrish and Jane Carol (McMillion) Parrish, who passed February 2nd of 2026. Nikki had a thirst for knowledge beginning as a child. She was a graduate of Capital High School, and attended Bridge Valley Community and Technical College and Garnet Career Center. Nikki was a mother first and for most, a wife, and touched the hearts of many, she was an extremely social butterfly never shying away from the public, she had dreams of being on Broadway her whole life this woman was a hard worker the moment she could get a job she did…She has had many career paths in her life, the most notable being one of the first employees with West Virginia Wireless, a phlebotomist at CAMC GENERAL and working doubles at CAMC MEMORIAL for 10+ years, She would always like to call herself a professional vampire. and the most recent being a district manager over 3 Wal-Marts garden centers for the company Metrolina Greenhouse, where she discovered her love for flowers and tending to the plants. She was a loyal employee for approximately 10 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Chandra Yvette Lopez, Paul Edward Parrish Jr., and Kimberly Shawn McDonough; Paul’s daughter, Savannah Odessa Parrish; Kimberly’s son, Noah McDonough; grandmother Annie McMillion.

Nikki is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Ray Phillips; their children, Michael Ray Phillips II and Natalie Elaine Phillips; Chandra’s children, Justin Lopez and Christian Lopez; Her sister Tina, Tina’s children Meighan Ryan Parsons, and Morgan Elizabeth Parsons; Cheryl’s children, Rachel Jane and Yvette Dawn Kimberly’s child, Ian McDonough, and her constant kitty companion, Chima Louise. Chima is an 11 year old Bermese who was rescued by Nikki many years ago.
