Obituary

Pamela Gayle Diveley, 66, of Montgomery, WV, passed away May 6, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

The daughter of the late Clayton and Beverly (Cook) Hudson, Pam spent her younger years in the Powellton area of West Virginia before attending Montgomery High School and later earning her G.E.D. She went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, working mainly for nursing homes and assisted living communities in North Carolina until her health forced her to retire early.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie Nicole Diveley, and her sister, Cheryl Sloan.

Pamela is survived by her children, Jason Hudson of North Augusta, SC, and Melissa Goins of Charleston, WV; brothers, Clayton Hudson Jr. of Montgomery and Richard Hudson of Bluefield, WV; aunt, Shirley Jean Capps of Montgomery; nieces, Crystal McMillan and Angela Sneed, both of Salisbury NC; great nieces and nephews, Brianna McMillian, Bruce Enos, and William Enos, all of Salisbury, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pam greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as you spend time with your family.
