Please accept my condolences for your loss. I worked under Pat as area nurse for Handicapped Children’s Services from 1984 – 1992, based in the Elkins DHHR office. It’s so very sad to learn of her passing. Thank you for such a beautifully written obituary, which provides more insight into her rich life. I have thought of her over the years as a respected leader in the HCS program, and I’m grateful to have had the experience of knowing her.
