Obituary

Patricia “Patsy” Morris, 84, of South Charleston, WV, passed away after a long illness on December 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 3, 1941, she was the daughter of Robert Glen Neely.

Patsy met the love of her life at a young age, marrying Joseph “Joe” Morris at the age of 14. Together, the couple had five loving children. Sadly, Joe passed away in 2019. The couple were married 64 wonderful years.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two of her children, PJ Morris and Roger Morris.

Patsy is survived by children, Ricky, Pattie and Paula Morris; her two grandchildren, Scott and Mark “Marky” Anthony Morris; three great-grandchildren, Nickolas Morris, Christian Hill and Maelisha Ball; several nieces and nephews, and her little puppy, Precious.

She was a loyal and dedicated mother who lived for her kids. She would give the shirt off of her back for anyone or anything. She also loved babysitting, which she did for many, many years. Her heart touched so many souls and she will never be forgotten.

“May God Bless. We all love you very, very much and will love you and miss you every moment of the day. You will always be in our hearts.”

Per her wishes, there will be no service at this time. Her body will be cremated and her ashes will be placed with her late husband and family.

God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her and whispered, “Come with me.”
With tear-filled eyes, we watched her suffer and fade away.
Although we loved her deeply, we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
