Obituary

On November 14, 2022, Paul Wayne Tanner, 60, of Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord and his family he so dearly missed after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Slate; sister, Kathlene Shultz, and brother, William Shultz.

Paul is survived by his son, Cameron Reed, and grandchildren Wyatt Reed, Izabelle Reed and Watson Reed of Nitro, WV; sister, Gail Vititoe of South Charleston, WV; brother, Ed (Natalie) Shultz of St Albans, WV; nieces, Jessica Miller of Ohio and Samantha Vititoe of North Charleston, WV, and nephews, William “Jim” Shultz of Tyler Mountain, WV, along with his adopted nephew, Matthew Burkett of Tyler Mountain.

In addition to riding his motorcycle, Paul enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his love, Martha Slate of Sissonville.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date to be determined.
