To Ray’S Family, So Very Sorry To Read Of His Passing. He Was A Friend To Me In My Younger Years And I Always Admired His Hard Work Ethic And Great Attitude . I Regret Not Reaching Out To Him Before Leaving Wv Because I Intended To.

I’Ve Know Ray For The Majority Of My Life And I Can Truthfully Say I’Ve Never Met A More Caring Or Kinder Guy. He Was Always Ready To Pick You Up When Your Car Broke Down Or Lend A Hand When Doing Brick Work…..I Can Testify To Having Personal Experience With Both!!! I Always Knew I Could Ask Ray For Anything And He Would Help Without A Second Thought. People Like That Are Few And Far Between And Ray Belonged To A Select Group Of People Who Are Good Friends In Every Sense Of The Word!
We Had Our Children At The Same Time And All Shared Many Wonderful Times Together, From Antiquing To Sunny Days On The Outer Banks To Our Dream Trip To The British Isles. What Great Memories We All Share And Ray Will Always Be With Us In Our Thoughts And Hearts.

There Are No Words To Express The Depth Of Sorrow At Learning Of Ray’S Death. There Was Never I Time I Didn’T Know Ray And Jean (Nini And Poppi) And Michael And Jerry. Ray And Jean Were Like An Extended Set Of Parents For Me, And I Have Always Loved Them Beyond Words. Most Of My Childhood Memories, And Certainly The Best Ones, Center Around Our Combined Families. The Trip We Took To England Will Forever Remain The Best Trip Of My Life.

Ray Was A Wonderful Man Who Was Instantly Liked By Anyone Who Ever Knew Him. He Had A Great Personality, A Wonderful Sense Of Humor, And A Very Caring And Giving Heart. It Saddens Me Beyond Words That He Is No Longer Here. My Heart Goes Out To His Family, But Especially To Jean, Who Has Been With Him Since High School. Jean, There Are No Words To Express How Sorry I Am For Your Tremendous Loss. I Love You So Much.

Everyone Who Ever Knew Ray Took An Instant Liking To Him — That’S Just The Kind Of Man He Was— And He Will Be Missed Tremendously By Those Who Were Lucky Enough To Meet Him, And Fortunate Enough To Love Him.

    With Much Love And Sorrow,
Chrissy Ferguson (For Ray And Jean, Who Knew Me My Entire Life And Always Called Me Chrissy)
