Obituary

On Friday, July 7, 2023, Rhonda Renee Fridley at 47, died peacefully in the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ.

Rhonda was born on October 6, 1975, in Takoma Park, Maryland, and grew up in Bowie, Maryland, to Larry and Karen Fridley. She was baptized on April 23, 2023, at Crossroads Community Church located in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Rhonda attended Southern High where she graduated in 1993. She also attended Valley College where she earned her associate degree in business management. Rhonda was a funny, loving, caring mother to her daughter Alyssa Mitchell. She was also a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend. Rhonda worked in multiple career fields.

Rhonda is survived by her loving daughter, Alyssa Mitchell, her father and mother, Larry and Karen Fridley, sister, Beth Kraven, brother, Charles Fridley, grandmother, Susan Fridley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved family members and friends.

Rhonda was preceded by her beloved pet dog, Coco.

Rhonda had a passion for working out at the gym, cooking, and baking. She also loved going to the beach and tanning. Her favorite movie was the Wizard of Oz which she viewed with her family often, especially on the holidays. One of her favorite breakfast meals to prepare for her daughter was cinnamon buns and bacon which she made with love. She made some really good ribs that her friends enjoyed eating. She also enjoyed fashion and dressing up in her beautiful flair. Rhonda was also a Cowboys’ fan.
