Richard grover dickerson, 94 of rand, wv passed away on august 23, 2018 at hubbard hospice house.

Richard was a retired us postal service employee and a decorated us army veteran who earned the bronze star during world war ii

he was preceded in death by his beloved wife ann, as well as nine brothers and two sisters.

Richard is survived by his daughters, rita dickerson of rand, wv and anita dickerson dixon (charles) of stone mountain, ga; his son, bryan dickerson (kimberly) of annandale, va; four grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Richard will be laid to rest at 1:15 p.M.. Friday, september 21, 2018 at donel c. Kinnard state veterans cemetery in dunbar, wv.
