Obituary

Richard (rick) brian mcdaniel, 47, of charleston wv, passed away february 28, 2018 after an unexpected emergency medical condition.

Rick is preceded in death by his father, orville mcdaniel; mother, elizabeth mcdaniel; brother, orville mcdaniel jr.; and sister brenda adkins.

He is survived by his siblings, dorothy dillon, donna pauley, suzi mcdaniel, jean white, terry harris, sandi cedeno, david mcdaniel, karen sadd, and scott canterbury, all of wv. He will also be sadly missed by numerous extended family members and many, many old and dear friends.

Rick was known for his humor and prankster ways, kind heart and giving nature, and was one of the hardest working people you will ever meet. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. He would always make jokes and make silly remarks, which would get those around him roaring, even in the most serious of moments. Some of his favorite things were watching wwe, listening to comedy, and being with family and friends. We will remember his smile, his warmth, his energy, his love for life, and love of family and friends. He made a difference in the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.M., friday march 9, 2018 at barlow bonsall funeral home in charleston wv.  all are welcome to attend and celebrate rick’s life.
