Obituary
Robert e. Tyler 84, of charleston, wv passed away friday, july 20, 2018 at riverside rehab center, st. Albans, wv.
Robert was a retired general laborer from midwest steel. He was a member of sacred heart co-cathedral, charleston and ushered even after he was diagnosed with dementia with his daughters help.
He was preceded in death by his parents, charles “mose” and icie harrah tyler; daughter, rose marie given, and grandson, daniel keith tyler.
He is survived by the love of his life of 62 years, barbara jelich tyler; sons, stephen tyler (who passed away july 23, 2018), his daughter in law, alisa milam tyler, robert (jeanie) tyler, jr. Of charleston; daughters, christine miller (john lee) , barbara (michael) rhodes of charleston, mary (ronald) cook of hurricane and jackie (logan) reynaga of new mexico; brother, charles w. (gloria) tyler of charleston; sisters, joann truslow, lillian diamond both of charleston, wv,19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.M .Saturday, july 28, 2018 at sacred heart co-cathedral charleston, wv with father don higgs and father john finnell officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.M. Until time of the service at the church.
The family would like to say thanks to the medical staff of kanawha hospice care and riverside rehab center for their tender loving care that was given to robert during his stay. A special thank you goes to meka brown stevens for her loving care and special attention given to robert.

I’M So Sorry To Hear About Robert’S Passing Last Week. I Fondly Remember His Friendly And Helpful Personality, And His Warmth, Whenever We Would Bump Into Each Other Over The Years. From His Days At Midwest, To The Last Time I Saw Him At The Grocery Store, He Never Once Had Anything Less Than A Wide Smile, Kind Words, And Was Always Interested In How Everyone Else Was Doing. He Was A Good And Kind Person, And I Am Truly Sorry For Your Loss.
