Obituary

Ronald Cockeram was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, to Herbert and Irene Cockeram. He attended Menomonie High School and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Vocational Rehabilitation. After graduation, Ron moved on to work with the State of West Virginia in vocational rehabilitation for 30 years. He retired and lived in Charleston, West Virginia, until his death on April 30th, 2023.

Ron was a man of many hobbies. He loved hiking and biking in the mountains and camping. He traveled extensively throughout the world, and enjoyed many hobbies such as astronomy, photography, and target shooting.

Ron leaves behind his sister, Roxane Monico, brother-in-law Kevin Monico, and sister-in-law Linda Cockeram. He also leaves behind his nieces, Vanessa Monico and Shellee Upton, and nephews, Paul and Brian Cockeram and Samuel Monico.

Ron was 75 years old when he passed.

A memorial service and celebration of Ron’s life will follow later this month in his home town of Menomonie, Wisconsin.
