Obituary
Ronald l. Riley, 85, of charleston, passed away thursday, december 14, 2017, at home.
he was born in cumberland, md., on december 23, 1931, to the late george and florede riley.
Ronald was a graduate of penn state university and a navy veteran.
He was retired from columbia gas and he served as west virginia state purchasing director during the administration of governor gaston caperton.
Ronald was a member and served on the board of governors of berry hills country club.
He was a volunteer for the ronald mcdonald house and the american red cross.
He is survived by his wife, constance c. Riley; children, rhonda
(curtis) bowen, ruth (lee) waugh and randy (phyllis) riley; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and step-daughter, laura shearer
(timothy) knapp.
Memorial service will be 1 pm monday, december 18, at first presbyterian church, charleston, with dr. William g. Mccoy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the first presbyterian church, 16 leon sullivan way, charleston, wv 25301.
