Obituary

Roth D. Miller, “Bud,” 88, of Big Chimney, WV, passed away December 4, 2024.

Bud graduated from Elkview High School and then went to work full-time for the West Virginia National Guard, retiring in 1991 with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant with over 36 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Miller and Christina (Koontz) Miller; his wife, Barbara (Simpson) Miller; daughter; Debbie (Miller) Hodges, and sister, Dolores Butcher.

Bud is survived by his son, Scott Miller, and his wife, Lori; sister, Martha Teel; grandchildren, Matthew Miller and wife Ashley, Noah Miller and wife Shonna and Kaitlin Watson and husband Nick, and great-grandchildren, Emma Miller, Abraham Watson, and Bennett Vivi and Welles Miller.

Per Buds request, there will be no service.
