Obituary
Sandra shreve, age 74 of clendenin died on january 29th 2017 at hubbard hospice house “west at thomas memorial hospital, south charleston, wv.
Sandra is survived by her husband ernest of 36 years, their child; jeffrey. Her first husband, richard and their children, richard jr., ronald and kimberly, as well as many grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Sandra was born october 17, 1943 in kanawha county, to the late, phillip and cammie samples. She graduated from clendenin high school and immediately started her family. from then on that became the central focus of her life. she worked tirelessly to care and provide for them, and became the glue that connected a large family across multiple states and generations.
She carried the same nurturing attitude into her faith, being a dedicated member of jehovah’s witnesses. before chronic illness limited her, she was active in the ministry. It was important to her to grow interest in the bible and help others learn. she was a frequent volunteer for many projects and tried to be as involved as possible.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who attempt to remember her life, share her love, and learn from the many lessons she taught.
Funeral service will be held noon saturday, february 4, 2017 at barlow bonsall funeral home, 1118 virginia st., east, charleston wv, with minister ben morgan officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

I Did Not Know Mrs. Shreve But I Know How Hard It Can Be To Lose A Loved One In Death So I Wanted To Say I Am Very Sorry For Your Loss. The Scripture That Has Given Me Comfort At Times Like This Is The One Found At Revelation 21:4 That Says, “And He Will Wipe Out Every Tear From Their Eyes, And Death Will Be No More, Neither Will Mourning Nor Outcry Nor Pain Be Anymore. The Former Things Have Passed Away.” So God Has Promised That In The Very Near Future We Will Never Have To Experience The Pain Associated With Death Anymore. I Pray That This Gives The Family Some Comfort During This Difficult Time.
