He was born in Tampa, FL, on June 24, 1972, to loving parents Cecil and Carolyn (Friddle) Hawkins. Following graduation from high school, Scott succeeded when he followed his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. He was known as “Spike” in the wrestling arena.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Hawkins.

Scott is survived by his sons, Bryce “Nathan” Hawkins (Kaylee) of St. Albans, WV, and Dakota Taylor of Charleston; daughter, Baylee; grandson, Brycen Lee; brothers, Tony Hawkins of Williamson, SC, Jerry Hawkins (Cheryl, deceased) of Williamson, and Gene Hawkins of Williamson; the mother of his children, Sherry Lynn Hawkins, and close friends, Chuck Taylor, Joseph Murphy (Beth Ann), Crystal Ragland, and Jamie. A family man at heart, Scott moved to West Virginia to be close to his family soon after the 2016 death of his father. After moving to West Virginia, he was the community Santa Claus.
