Obituary

Sharisa Dearien-Wisen, 32, of Charleston, WV, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 19, 2023.

She is survived by her children, Liam, Henry, Tredan, and Kamara; parents, Frederick Wisen of Charleston and Tamara Pennington of Grantsville, WV; siblings, April Wisen-Cole of Raleigh, NC, Florence Canada of Huntington, WV, Krystal Wilson (Mark) of Hurricane, WV, Fredrick Wisen of Beckley, WV, and William Wisen (Michelle Landmark) of Massillon, OH, Michael Wisen (Brianna Grimmett) of Rand, WV, and Katie Denny (Christopher) of Timberlake, NC, and many nieces and nephews.

Sharisa was a free spirit with an adventurous side. She loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. She would help anyone in need. Sharisa enjoyed spending time outdoors immensely. Some of her favorite things to do were four-wheeling, building bonfires, and acting goofy.

Visitation service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV, with Pastor Robert Dearien, Liam’s grandfather, officiating. Sharisa will be cremated after the service.
