Obituary

Sharon Burns went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2024, at the age of 64.

Sharon was a resident of Pinch, WV. She had retired from Oakridge Nursing Home where she was called the glue who held it together. She spent her retired time knitting, crocheting, playing with her puppy “Uno,” hanging out with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Burns; father, Henry Burns, and brother, Russell Burns. She leaves behind her Daughter, Jessica (Larry) McDonnell, and her four grandchildren, Olivia, Daxx, Victoria, and Felix. She also leaves behind her sisters, Karen (Lee) Godbey, Hattie (Steve) Bishop, and Melissa (Fred) Mourey, and many nieces and nephews.

Per Sharon’s wishes, her ashes will be scattered by her family.
