Obituary

Shelby rae spradling 26, of charleston, wv passed away at camc memorial hospital on monday, december 25, 2017 after a short illness.

Shelby was a tv producer and worked for wowk-channel 13 tv news in charleston, wv.

She was a lifelong resident of charleston. She was a graduate of herbert hoover high school class of 2009, she graduated summa cum laude from the university of charleston with the class of 2012.

Shelby loved nathan, her family, miss kitty, music and star wars.

She is preceded in death by her father, edward spradling; grandparents, jewel  and charlie holland, and raymond spradling; and aunt nancy christenson.

Shelby is survived by her mother, deborah holland childers and stepfather, clyde childers; sister, savannah jane (brandon) poynter; her boyfriend, nathan amos; grandmother, margaret spradling; aunt jane ( greg) stahl ; uncle tom (martha) holland; and many cousins; also she leaves behind her cat, shen-yun/miss kitty; and step-sisters, natalie (lance) vaughan and tatem (pete) grimm.

Shelby was beautiful inside and out. She could light up a room with her smile and she made so many people happy. In her short time here her accomplishments were too many to count. Shelby will be in our hearts forever and ever. We would like to thank all of shelby friends for all their thoughts and prayers. She loved working with her colleagues at channel 13 as well as channel
8 and 3. Thank you all so much.

Memorial visitation will be held from noon to 4:00 p.M. Friday, december 29, 2017 at the  charleston’s women’s club, 1600 virginia st., east, charleston, wv.
