Obituary

Stacie gail casdorph, 43, of sissonville, passed away on monday, october 12, 2015 at camc general hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Stacie was born october 18, 1971 to gail casdorph, sissonville, wv and jay (beverly) casdorph, conway, sc.
She was a graduate of sissonville high school and a spokesperson for students against drunk driving (sadd) in order to help others understand the dangers of drinking and driving.
Despite her disabilities due to a tragic automobile accident, she was always happy and smiling.  she inspired others to make good choices and she always reminded people to have hope and love, no matter what your situation.  she always made you laugh with her silly faces and funny come-backs.  she was a real jokester.  her positive and loving attitude endeared her to everyone.  she will be truly missed by all, including the pets, she so dearly loved.
Stacie was a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, roby t. Worley; fraternal grandparents, garland and doris casdorph.
In addition to her parents she is survived by sisters, courtenay (charlie) fields, jocelyn casdorph and amy kirby; brother, brent (marcie) fornal; nephew and niece, corey and madyson spradling; and her beloved grandmother, lavinia “red” worley.
Funeral service will be 2 p.M. Saturday, october 17, 2015 at the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, 2007 mcclure pkwy, charleston, wv 25312 with bishop john liethead.  burial will follow at floral hills, sissonville.  family will meet friends from 11 am to 1:30 pm on saturday for visitation at the church.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver teresa harris, all the staff at camc general hospital who cared for her, the staff at mountaineer home care, the medical staff at select specialty hospital at st. Francis hospital and special friend, craig casdorph who was with her, from the accident to her death.
In lieu of flowers ““ the family suggests donations may be made in stacie’s honor to:  kanawha charleston humane association, 1248 greenbrier st, charleston, wv 25311.
