  1. Ash says:

I’m only just learning about your passing, and it has hurt my heart so badly. Stan you were a wonderful person, I will cherish your memory (the good and the bad lol) and you were wrong. I’ve shed many tears since learning this. Rest easy my friend. I will always hold a place for you in my heart.

  2. Grew up the Stan in Wertz Ave and played against him in Little League baseball while he played for New Way Cleaners and I played for Royal Olds. The only time I watched a Charleston and Stonewall football game Stan was the QB for Charleston, boy could he throw a football. Stan was a good guy and I hate hearing about his passing while it happened as I was on my way back home from SC for a family visit. R.I.P. Stanley!

  3. Stan was the Charleston High School starting QB in 1978-79, and a VALUABLE member of Charleston High School’s 1st All-Black Boys Basketball Team 1978-79. RIP.
